These Terms and Conditions apply to the supply and installation of solar energy systems by NANDY AND PAUL PTY LTD Trading As Urban Solar Life ("Urban Solar Life", "we", "our", "us") to customers ("you", "your") in Western Australia.
1. Scope of Services
We provide the supply and installation of complete solar energy systems as outlined in your approved quote. This includes solar panels, inverters, mounting hardware, and installation services. All necessary grid applications and network approvals are managed by us. Installation may be carried out by our qualified in-house teams or trusted subcontractors.
2. Pricing and Payments
All pricing is as quoted and includes GST unless stated otherwise. A deposit of 10% is required upon acceptance of the quote, with the remaining balance due on the day of installation.
We accept payments via bank transfer, major credit cards, and cash.
If applicable, STCs (Small-scale Technology Certificates) will be applied as an upfront discount, and by accepting the quote, you agree to assign these STCs to us.
3. Installation Timeframes
Installation generally takes place within 2 to 4 weeks from deposit payment, depending on system availability and approval timelines.
While we make every effort to meet estimated timeframes, certain delays beyond our control (such as supplier issues or adverse weather) may affect the schedule.
4. Site Access and Approvals
You must provide clear and safe access to the installation site. We will handle grid connection applications and coordinate with the distributor as needed. You are responsible for ensuring that any local council or strata permissions are in place where applicable.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel your order within 10 business days of placing the order and before installation. In such cases, your deposit will be refunded within 10 business days from the date of written cancellation.
6. Warranties
We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on our installation services. Product warranties are detailed in your quote.
To make a warranty claim, you must contact us in writing with supporting evidence.
7. Ownership and Risk
Ownership of the system transfers to you once full payment is received. The risk of damage or loss passes to you once the system has been installed and commissioned.
8. Limitations of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including performance loss due to shading, weather, or changes in network conditions. To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability is limited to the total price paid for the system.
